STUDY LOAN SCHEME (CORPORATION'S OWN SCHEME)

Under this scheme, the corporation provides education loans to SC/ST students who are studying professional/technical courses in recognized institutions.

Maximum Loan Limit

Rs.1,50,000/- for a full course of five years. 
Rate of Interest

4% 
Repayment Period 5 years.
Repayments start after starting a job/business  or after completion of the course whichever is earlier.
Source of Finance Direct by HPSC&STDC.

Eligibility Criteria
  • 1. Members of Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe family who is bonafide Resident of Himachal Pradesh.
  • 2. Annual Family Income Maximum Rs.1,00,000/-p.a.
  • 3. Applicant should be a regular student of a recognized Institution/University.
  • 4. Applicant should not be a defaulter of any Financial Institution/Bank.

  • EDUCATION LOAN SCHEMES IN COLLEBORATION WITH APEX CORPORATIONS (NSFDC/NSTFDC/NSKFDC, NEW DELHI)

    Maximum Loan Limit Upto Rs.4000000 (forty lakh) (Within the Country)(Abroad Study)
    Rate of Interest The Rate of Interest will be decided by the APEX Corporations.
    Repayment Period 5 years
    Repayment starts after 6 months of completion of the course or getting a job/employment, whichever is earlier.
    Source of Finance Collaboration with NSFDC/NSTFDC/NSKFDC

    Courses of Study

    • i. Full Time Professional/ Technical Courses in fields of; Engineering, Medical, Dental, Management, Information & Technology, Hotel Management, architecture, Physiotherapy, Bio-Technology, Law and Journalism, etc.
    • ii. Professional Courses like Law, Journalism, C.A/ ICWA/CS/AMIA/FIA/IETE, etc.

  • Eligibility Criteria

    •  Members of Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe family or dependent of Safai Karamcharies 
    •  who is bonafide Resident of Himachal Pradesh.
    •  Annual Family Income Maximum Rs. 5,00,000/- (NSFDC) and  Rs.3,00,000/-p.a. (NSTFDC) No income criteria for NSKFDC)
    •  Applicant should be a regular student of a recognized Institution/University.
    •  Applicant should not be a defaulter of any Financial Institution/Bank.
