Dalit Varg Vayevsaik Prashikshan Yojna)

Under this scheme, the corporation endeavors to provide vocational training to the SC/ST youth in traditional and non-traditional trades through I.T.I./Private Institution/Master Craftsman.

Eligibility Criteria

  • 1. Members of Scheduled Caste Family who is bonafide Resident of Himachal Pradesh.
  • 2. Annual family income limit Rs 35,000/- p.a .
  • 3. Age Limit : 18 to 35 years.
Duration of Training Maximum Up To 12 Months.

Stipend to Trainees

  • 1. Rs.500/- per month per trainee if the training is imparted in the home district.
  • 2. Rs.750/- per month per trainee if the training is imparted out of home district of the trainee.
